Renting an apartment in Luxembourg starts with defining how long you plan to stay, your overall monthly budget and the criteria you will not compromise on. A rented home has to suit you as it stands: the condition of the rooms, storage and natural light are judged during the viewing, since alterations remain limited without the landlord's agreement. Space for your furniture, orientation and quietness matter as much as the advertised floor area. The rent is assessed together with the charges and the costs of moving in.

With Unicorn, prepare questions covering what the charges include, how the heating works, the condition of the equipment and the building rules that apply to tenants. The check-in inventory deserves particular attention: every mark recorded protects both parties when you move out. Ask about the lease term, the notice period and the renewal conditions before signing. During the viewing, make sure the apartment matches the listing, from the number of rooms to the ancillary spaces.

To rent an apartment, review the listings and tell Unicorn your timeframe, monthly rent budget and essential requirements. Check the lease, additional charges and requested deposit before committing. Owners can also discuss ongoing support through our rental management service once a property is let. Contact our team to arrange a viewing, clarify the terms recorded in the documents and consider whether the space fits the intended period of use.
